Fascists, also called traditionalists,[1] loyalists,[2] or nationalists,[3] are right-wing authoritarians and reactionaries who hold beliefs of biological determinism, racial supremacy, and ethnostatism[4] represented by the Revacholian Age of Suzerains[5] and Innocence Franconegro.[6] Since the Antecentennial Revolution, fascism has been suppressed by the rule of the Moralist International,[7] and become splintered over national borders, though some states still follow its ideological foundations.[8]
Ideology
In a global sense, fascists see themselves as the heirs to the rule of Franconegro, the innocence of militarism and creator of the Nation,[9] and consider his successor, Dolores Dei, as an inadequate ruler for her reluctance to subjugate other cultures, though many fascists still hold her in high regard, and obey innocentic rule.
Identifiable by their brown colors, fascists are frequently euphemistically called loyalists or royalists, especially by those old enough to remember the Suzerain of Revachol. The old monarchy was steeped in supremacist ideas, helped by its status as an interisolar superpower and the autocratic structure of power. Domestic unrest, the Antecentennial Revolution, and subsequent invasion and occupation by the Coalition took Revachol from a superpower to an occupied nation, in thrall to the capitalist nations comprising the Coalition, fueling resentment and making fascism an attractive ideology for those who failed to adapt or bear grudges.[10]
Those who believe in Revacholian Nationhood commonly believe in the supremacy of the state over the individual and blame foreigners for problems of their own making. The attitudes vary. Most believe that the expulsion of immigrants (i.e. anyone with a skin of a different palette than theirs), degenerates (i.e. communists, socialists, homosexuals, people who enjoy beer), and foreign powers (the Coalition) would usher in a new era of prosperity and might for the great male fascist. However, fascists disagree on the particulars. Fascists like Measurehead do not pine for the return of the old Revachol, but firmly believe in the creation of a new, aeropagite superstate where the master race would rule over the lesser races. Unlike vanilla fascists, these supremacists base their beliefs in science - really, really bad science.[11]
