You have to gain authority in Titus' eyes for the investigation to advance. Soften him up first. Maybe investigate the crime scene, or the body? Look for a witness? Get help from the Union boss, or the company rep? Tie them to any other crimes?
Walkthrough[ | ]
- After interrogating the Hardie boys for the first time, you'll have to prove your authority to Titus in order to get any more information out of him.
- The authority check can be made easier by several means, most of which can be achieved by pressing Titus on evidence you've found. Alternatively, failing the check twice will give you the option to ask Kim for help (by complaining about your garbage choices, NOT by asking for his gun -- that option leads nowhere good).
- Confronting the Hardie boys about the drug trade gives +1 to the check
- Confronting Titus with the fractured bullet gives +1 to the check
- Opening the apartment door for Evrart and then asking Evrart to have the Hardie Boys cooperate gives +2 to the check
- Discussing the eighth Hardie gives +1 to the check
- Appearing weak when you first met gives -1 to the check
- Having won against Titus in a physical standoff gives +1 to the check
- Warning the Hardie Boys about the tribunal gives +1 to the check
- Interviewing the Sunday friend and speaking to Titus about what you found gives +1 to the check
- Passing the authority check or calling on Kim will allow you to pressure the Hardie Boys into talking more about the woman they say was sexually assaulted.
- The task ends when you learn the victim's name: Klaasje Amandou.
