Ptolemaios Pryce is a character in Disco Elysium.
Background
Captain Ptolemaios "Ptolemy" Pryce is the head of Precinct 41 and a member of the Revachol Citizens Militia. He is 58, bald, and wears glasses.[1] He is exclusively mentioned through Esprit de Corps passive checks and in certain Endings.
Trivia
- In an Esprit de Corps passive check near the end of the game, it is revealed that the Pryce is planning a revolution, most likely the Return, with Nix Gottlieb.[2]
- As long as Harry is not fired from the RCM by Jean Vicquemare, Pryce will include him in the list of officers that would join the cause alongside Mack Torson, Chester McLaine, Jean Vicquemare, and Judit Minot. However, Trant Heidelstam is specifically excluded from this list.[3]
- Pryce owns a piebald horse that he uses as transportation to and from his home.[4]
- Pryce is a comparatively well-known and admired officer. Kim Kitsuragi and Cuno mention him with high regard.[5][6][7] Other precincts—and possibly civilians—also respect Precinct 41 because of Pryce.[8]
- Pryce is the son of the old Pryce, one of the founders of the RCM.[9]
Behind the Scenes
- A photograph of Pryce can be seen in various promotional images, though he does not have a painted portrait.[10]

"Of course." - ↑ ESPRIT DE CORPS - Night. Captain Ptolemy Pryce steps into the yard. A piebald horse waits by the motor carriage, chewing oats out of an oat-bag. Seagulls fly overhead.
